Petadolex Pro-Active Review

Manufacturer’s Claim

Today, we will do a review of Enzymatic Therapy’s product, Petadolex Pro-Active. This product claims to support the relaxation of blood vessels in the brain, which will ultimately prevent migraines. The product contains pure butterbur extract, which aids in treating migraines. The manufacturer has a specific patented method of extracting the purest form of Butterbur, leaving out any toxic components. To learn more about Enzymatic Therapy Petadolex Pro-Active product, read the informative review below.

Out of the several compounds found in Butterbur, the manufacturer extracted two very important compounds, namely petasin and isopetasin. The root extract was then standardized to 7.5 mg petasins. Each capsule contains a serving of 50 mg. It is recommended that 75 mg of Butterbur be taken for optimal effectiveness in treating migraines. This makes one wonder if this product will be effective. Petadolex Pro-Active does however not contain artificial flavorings, gluten, soy or preservatives. We were unable to find more information on the ingredients found in this product.

The manufacturers indicate a dosage of one softgel three times a day. It, however, does not indicate when in the day one must take the supplement. They also do not state if one must drink it before, during or after a meal.

One bottle of 60 softgel capsules costs $52.99. There are no bulk package deals available for this product. Petadolex Pro-Active cannot be purchased online. To purchase this product, use the manufacturer’s website to locate the nearest store to you.

Possible Side Effects

No possible side effects were found listed by Enzymatic Therapy. The manufacturers do, however, indicate on the label of the product cautions for the following: if a person has any liver troubles, abdominal pain, jaundice or dark urine, they must stop the use of this product immediately and see their healthcare professional. Persons who are on medication, pregnant or nursing should consult their healthcare professional before the use of Petadolex Pro-Active.

The manufacturer offers a product return policy, given that the products are sealed and unopened. The product must be returned within 60 days from the purchase date. By contacting their customer care line, a full explanation will be given on what to do. Expired products are not accepted.

Petadolex Pro-Active Review – The Bottom Line

There are some things that we like about Enzymatic Therapy Petadolex Pro-Active. At first glance, it appears to be a very good product taking into consideration how the Butterbur is extracted and the specific compounds used in the product. Also that this product contains no artificial flavorings, gluten, soy or preservatives. A few concerns we have is the low amount of Butterbur found in the product. This could be why reviews from customers indicated that the product did not work for them. The guarantee offered by the manufacturer is very weak as one may only return unopened packages. There are many products on the market for migraines. For the reason of the low quantity of essential ingredients and the weak guarantee offered by the manufacturer, we do not recommend this product.
