Inactive Ingredients: Boric Acid, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Propylene Glycol, Water Purified, Salicylic Acid, SD Alcohol 38B, Tannic Acid.
The ingredients are meant to numb the affected area while treating it. They are supposed to disinfect the area and also prevent the sore from returning.
This product can be used by adults and children 2 years and older. It it recommended to dry irritated area. Apply a thin coat with cotton swab of clear finger up to 4 times daily. Allow gel to dry 30 – 60 seconds. Children under 12 years should be supervised by an adult while using this product.
Zilactin-B Long Lasting Mouth Sore Gel costs $8.57 for a 0.25 ounce bottle. You can also but a pack of two bottles for $16.59.
Possible Side Effects
This product is not for children under 2 years. It is only meant to be used externally. Apply only to affected areas. If symptoms worsen or do not clear up after 7 days, stop and consult a doctor. You must also consult a doctor if the symptoms clear up but then return after a few days with irritation, pain or redness.

There are a couple of positive things about Zilactin-B Long Lasting Mouth Sore Gel. This product is supposed to provide you with long lasting relief. Many customers were extremely pleased how this product worked for them and said that it is the only mouth sore gel they will ever use. There are a couple of negative things as well about this product. It is a bit on the expensive side and sold in very small bottles. It also has no customer guarantee and therefore provides no reassurance in its effectiveness. Many customers said it stings when it’s applied and has a terrible taste until it dries. Others said that it gave them relief but needed another product to actually heal the sore. We feel you will have better luck with another product found elsewhere.
